The worst PM in a long time …

We have walked eyes wide open into one self inflicted disaster after another, not only exiting Europe but the double whammy of hindering or stopping free exchange of workers. Its usual in life when huge (a Boris word if ever …. ) changes are implemented to taper and slide as much as possible, to ease the pain. After all, this is not wartime, we should strive to allow light and clarity and an exchange of good will to predominate in our lives. It was not a secret that European drivers, European fruit and produce pickers and European process workers were fundamental to the UK food and distribution industry. The big joke has been that a ballerina is permitted to work in the UK from Europe (yet live performance has barely started theres no real need for them surely… ) but that drivers, pickers, process workers are not!

The latest news is that some trivial amount at 10k people are allowed in short-term only until Christmas Eve …. a most stupid cut-off date imaginable as we know fine well they will want to travel to be back with their families!

Question: wheres the brains in this UK Government?

Another big self inflicted disaster and for decades has been the often pointless tweaking at state school education and curriculum. many kids are barely literate, they cannot sketch or explain themselves or grasp a sense of community or of how to living inclusively.

In Cabinet and at the helm we are supposed to have the best and brightest, this not now looking to be the case. Why do we seem to be so keen on rich Asians to to take up as many posts as possible, these rich people cannot understand the blind sightedness and cruelty of stopping a twenty quid note to the poor and the needy; or of the fear and uncertainty all compounded by the travails of covid. I cannot be impressed by Rishi Sumac, nor Priti Patel, the latter making it a prisonable offence to enter the UK. We also live in a more unfair society as from I think Thatcher onward the Local Authority house building programme pretty well dried up, very soon people were dependant on private landlords, the worst possible situation.

Heres the bombshell, its my opinion theres too many people on the planet, if we could halve the population then we might be holding each other in better regard, more able to survive on the food this limited and compromised earth can supply. People knock the Chinese but for most of the twentieth century they proceeded around on bicycles and consumed little…. and had a one child policy. Surely these are things we should all aim for, but hubris, ambition, consumerism will undo any fine objectives.

And we are all of one species, this encroaching Nationalism from any part of the world is unethical, immoral, free exchange of peoples surely is how humanity needs to proceed.

I’m sorry to be saying this, yet I’m sure many millions of people are saying this also but recalling Bidens disastrous speech a couple of weeks ago on insisting to honour trumps ‘arrangement’ to back out of Afghanistan and specifically stating he did not want any more US service personnel to lose life (ie last occurred three years ago) … this will as I’ve stated already go down in infamy, it will echo for a century or more as totally a stupid move, as totally woodenheaded; of course assuming as if we were to be an extant species for so long a time period in the years ahead.

Lets face it, so much of what trump pushed for and was mostly unseen from general view for example to promote his ‘trash-crackpot-take’ on any or all situations ie environment, equal rights, healthcare, etc etc ….. we can see there can not have been anything trump couldn’t keep his grubby hands away from; yet I’m assuming the Biden administration has over-turned a great deal of the trumpian destruction, so why and so why has Biden pressed ahead with the insane withdrawal from Afghanistan?

The great obstacle appears to be in it not being easy to over-turn the trumpian envoys disastrous ‘Art of the Deal’ secret meeting/s with the Taliban which means I’m assuming Biden has to honour the pot of crap negotiated by an imbecile called trump or more likely his whoever representative, which I increasingly wonder was greenhorn Jared, but of course it was whoever flew out there ‘and did the business’. Now on bbc radio news yesterday and today we hear as how little or nothing was extracted for Western advantage but it was all a complete giveaway to the Taliban!! I’m surprised they didn’t give ’em all goodie bags stuffed with ammunition and codes and cyphers and other such advantages.

But Biden is not trump, or hopefully should not be.

So could we assume mayhem and future decades of turmoil in the Middle East exist now because of a hardly educated over advantaged low IQ son of a crook called Jared? This indeed has the hallmark of trumpian callous unthinking ineptitude and shallow gloss, wrong man for the wrong job, but looks okay for the camera.

The Taliban got it all, the West retained nothing. This is blasphemous in its stupidity, an influencing and intelligence platform cast to the wind.

Why are our so-called leaders so poor?

So who is the greater woodenhead here below, one obviously made of wood and another, taking an utterly woodenheaded direction …

What the hell did you think would happen?

Just listening to Diane Abbott a few seconds ago on bbc r4 ‘Any Questions’ and I’ve had to turn off.

At first shot at spouting forth Diane keeps it all very vague, in broad brushstrokes but at second pitch a few minutes later she states categorically that we we failed at nation building. This is incorrect.

In my opinion we succeeded at nation building with the western presence in Afghanistan; we certainly did, amply demonstrated by everyones dismay, fear and real horror at now being stuck (alone) with a Taliban master. I would think an entire half of the population ie female will be shaking at the loss of western freedoms (ie this is what is called nation building Diane). Also a great proportion of Afghan males will equally be horrified that now with Taliban masters ethnicity and regional and tribal origin will once again shape ones life/ or death. All these negative points were chipped away at and rendered paltry by twenty years of western nation building, Diane.

How is it words and views can become so deranged and inapplicable, I’m thinking of the wonky brain of Diane Abbott. She needs to work with texts, printed material and perhaps a writing course to gain the idea of inferences and real intended meaning from the written word… methinks so. Diane!

It looks that the trump administration (if ever a ‘trump administration’ could ever warrant such a term, I mean a bunch of opportunistic lackeys and self interested on-the-make fascists and petty fraudsters) …. did their utmost to speed the takeup of power by the Taliban, this is tantamount to aiding the enemy. This is so elementary as if a childrens flashcard session, but after all, this is how ‘Intelligence’ was indeed presented to trump, by childrens flashcards. Look again to Putin, trumps puppet master.

We’ve released a basket of vipers, what the hell did you think would happen?

Keeping on top of Afghanistan I assume seemed do-able, I assume also quite do-able for many years to come, certainly strategically immensely useful to us, and also useful to them, the ordinary people, we provided a looser more accepting society, western values generally diminish fear. Yet, the mere hint of retreat and the Taliban rush in at great speed. Question is, quite what did the trump administration tie down with the Taliban, what did their ‘secret negotiations’ contain?

Biden looks super-bad in all this; I’m so sad he has turned out to be quite useless and in fact a danger to world peace and strategic thinking. Its ironic the newly presented ‘gloss and spin’ from the Taliban is so like the gloss and spin that trump has used so much throughout his life ie saying one thing but actually doing another. I can see the influence of trump in this, exhorting the phoney tv and media image, merely a game of smoke and mirrors; media and tv to be ‘used’ and spoonfed whatever angle someone such as trump wished to world to see, this signals zero respect to the outer world, the viewers.

Checks and balances I wonder? Where was NATO? Likewise British Cabinet and Foreign Office appear woefully ineffectual, again, top-brass military, where were all the brains and experience in allowing any of this to happen? Afghanistan was an ideal place to gather Intel, a windfall to influence and propagate western values, now all thrown to the wind. We hear also today Saturday 21st that callers to bbc r4 ‘Any Questions’ are pleading for the Home Office, Foreign Office etc to get more joined up and realise how to fast-track applications and procedure. Maybe Dominic Cummings was correct in there needing to be a big shake-up.

Factual testimony today Saturday informs us the Taliban are as cruel as ever, again on bbc r4 ‘Any answers’ of the brother of a man that worked for the British, and therefore his brother a qualified surgeon had a hand cut off merely because the brother had worked for the Brits and following from this other family members have been murdered these last few days, murdered by the Taliban because of this Brit connection, as another caller told us, his life will be measured in hours, not days or weeks.

So we can see, the Taliban are using western style media to in fact bullshit the west, whilst meantime pursuing their unenlightened backward mindset; amputation, torture, murder.

trump did his best to denigrate and diminish NATO for his friend in the Kremlin, strange how Biden let this utterly catastrophic and easily avoided go through. Biden and the Americans can now never be trusted.

It is also cruel and mindless to set the final date for withdrawl as 9/11 … this should have been realised and avoided at all cost, it helps no-one.

I hope and pray we can insist the window for bringing back all those that helped western forces can be extended, maybe in exchange for aid and not sanction. But also ‘to mop up’ all those feared and cowering that cannot physically reach the airport nor have all the documents required.

I am keen to sponsor an Afghan family. I need now to find how to do this, I know what it is like to be without help, to stand alone, ignored.

This whole thing has been pre-rehearsed, it is to a script, the bizarre spectacle of America sleep walking into the Afghanistan ‘withdrawl disaster’ is in fact in my opinion heavily scripted, hence Bidens stilted nonsensical Monday speech.

For instance when forever has a president genuinely troubled themselves at the loss of life in the course of duty? Pity he didn’t consider civilian lives, was it running at a ratio of ten to one? But this wouldn’t have been foremost until a few weeks ago, I’m assuming everything was ticking over nicely so to speak until then, in todays UK Parliament we are informed of no US military deaths in three years, can we say this tour is now a patsy? For sure from now on there will be much greater loss of life. Bidens thoughts and views on this hold no water. These things are viewed statistically by the top brass at home and its for sure far more people die of traffic accidents, but we never ban cars. Sorry to be caustic on this but this ‘stinks to high heaven’.

This cack-handed and supremely inept withdrawl perhaps results from the trump administration speaking to the Taliban in secret. A deal has been done and I reckon this could be the result of trump meeting with Putin in Helsinki for two hours a couple of years ago with no record of what was said, no minutes taken. The deal entails the Taliban being handed Afghanistan in exchange for them displaying a certain leniency and ‘enlightened thinking’.

In essence he has handed Afghanistan and the region to Putin, made the USA look stupid and created turmoil setting the scene for trouble in the future, no doubt all to the glee of Putin. I hesitate at using the term Russia because everything is Putin-centric, its the man, not the country. China will build economic aid but it will be Putin who exercises muscle; along with Pakistan wallowing in their unforseen luck.

Lets extend this speculative line of thought of mine a little further, it makes one wonder if the dreadful scenes of the Jan 6th storming of the Capitol were in fact a Russian manipulation? Thinking is allowed. Their intent on making western society and values look stupid certainly seems to be taking effect. After all, it is obvious for the trump four year White House tenure he was walking hand in hand with the Russians.

Airlifting so many people out of Kabul airport in such an uncertain, heart rending and last minute manner is a profound failure in planning, of local knowledge, of the practical business of getting things done. The UK Ambassador we hear from bbc r4 is still there along with volunteers from the Embassy doing their best to process and fastrack the airlift of all those likely to suffer at the hands of the Taliban. Meanwhile can we assume the western allies had already pulled the plug on their own military airbases, I assume the answer is yes. Also, we learn on bbc radio that this is ‘the fighting season’ when armed militias etc are most prominent, yet another blunder of Intelligence and planning. Theresa May had good right to be scathing, I would think behind the scenes more so too.

We must remember Obama set all this running ie the departure which in itself is a bad idea, after all, we have the soldiers, mostly the gear and so why not deploy them meaningfully, the US and the British still have many bases and soldiers around the world, curiously a huge contingent still in South Korea, so what possible arguament for Afghanistan withdrawl could hold water?

I do not think it was ever a ‘waste of time’ in any sense, western presence at each minute for twenty years was time well spent, imagine how bad it could have become without our being there. Its just a crying pity the end was so badly done.

If I were a Prime Minister or President …

I’m sure I would have not travelled the road of insanity as displayed by Johnson and Biden. And why? For what reasons have they done this? Both are now rock bottom in my estimation of suitability to hold Office. What is the matter with them, has some collective stupidity enveloped them and rendered them blind to the obvious?

As PM or Pres I would reach out to countries, help with all aspects of decent moral life, with education, scholarships, equal rights, infrastructure, the nitty gritty of electricity and sewage. As far as I could determine with western forces in Afghanistan everything was sort of ticking over okay, no doubt masses of experience had been gained and hence things could only get better, but to depart so haplessly and concede everything to the so-called dreaded taliban then what was it all for? Are there warmongers and industrialists at influence at Washington that would like nothing better than a total mess to emerge so that in time they will have a full scale war to enjoy again?

Biden has failed catastrophically, his speech of Monday will become infamous as fatuous nonsensical and scratching at any excuse to justify a withdrawl that a) would never work and b) created mayhem and danger for everyone left behind and thrown to the wind the opportunity to win hearts and minds, thrown to the wind all the good work done, the manhours and effort. A catastrophic failure of foreign initiative. Remember with Iraq a dozen tissue-thin basically non-existant reasons were endlessly peddled and promulgated so as to initiate huge military operations, when all along no legitimate reason existed (remember the guilty Colin Powell, Reece et al) but now with a hundred valid and concrete reasons to stay they have gone deaf and mute to any drop of good sense. Whats all behind this???

Macron too is displaying strange behaviour, I cannot converse in French therefore its all in translation but again ‘doesn’t read right’. Something smells a bit fishy.

Nature abhors a vacuum and I shudder to think how the next few months will play out as less than benign world players will enter Afghanistan to peddle influence and gain huge regions of new territory, to colour the map according to their own un-enlightened viewpoint, most likely allowing madmen and zealots to run riot as long as it is not too ‘in their face’. Whatever nations park themselves as the new friends of the taliban controlled Afghanistan they will be quite happy for a low-level illegal mayhem to percolate contentedly.

I’m thinking of the Chinese here, their treatment of minorities and Uyghers will be forever a black mark on their so-called modernisation. But realise when the Chinese persecute they are actually erasing the presence of people that have lived and worked in specific regions for an awfully long time; those people surely have every right to go about unhindered in their daily lives, not to be hounded and persecuted and basically wiped out by some invisible unaccountable beauracratic machine in Beijing. China feeds its population total media junk, have a look at their online media content, endless junk as if desperate to elevate everyone to an in the present mode of life and hundreds of years of quiet living are now looked down upon and seemingly to be eradicated, just as with hutongs, all this sounds so very Orwellian.

I cried on Monday when I heard the radio news of people hanging onto an aircraft at takeoff, martyrs indeed.
