Insect decline.

Plenty of news coverage yesterday re insect decline, bizarre predictions of  ‘100 years’ seem so silly, if insect loss stands as it does now I’d say three years, five or seven. How else, if they’re ‘dropping like flies’  (horrible pun)  with nicotinoids and unmentioned aluminium levels then the tail off will can only be drastic. I feel so sorry for the knock on effects, to lose garden song birds will be so sad. Likewise bees, butterflies, and i wonder at earthworms. I garden for birds here, strangers have told me so, yet we use the term ‘garden songbird’ when in fact gardens suitable for them, swathes of urban garden are punctuated with barren grass patches at best or paving and gravel and the dreaded dreaded membrane. People just do not seem to connect, few people plant a garden hedge, there are other preoccupations, other toys to play with nowadays. People are so THICK …

My garden is a maze of carefully thought out ‘jumble’, niche corners, shrubs, flowering things, every day of the year theres something in flower. All done at little expense, lots from seed and cuttings.

Many farmers are not the best of operators in ensuring biodiversity, often on my rambles hedges are left to fail and thin and then remain as a few straggling hawthorn sixty years later. A most useful small / mini wood at the entrance to Old B Church was destroyed a few years ago, snowdrop churned to muck, for no purpose, the Forestry Commission a hundred miles away telling me they granted a license to fell and there will be i assume grant aid to develop another artificial synthetic planting. Here in our local Park much used by urban dogwalkers similar nonsense is occurring, an obsession in destroying potential butterfly habitat ie strimming and putting out of reach leaf litter for blackbirds with an obsession with wood chippings; maybe I’m wrong, maybe it will house worms and woodlice, I shall have to check.

Likewise at a couple of separate places i visit, i place bird seed in useful rough weathered fencepost, for twenty years yellowhammer have always accompanied me along that road in spring and summer, its the least i can do. I feed horses too, initially a little neglected, twenty years ago, nowadays the owners realise they need to make an effort. Its what you do that matters, not platitudes or vacuous observations with no follow up. In the bad snow of seven years ago it was only one visit in six weeks that I missed a 28 mile round trip to feed each afternoon; snow tyres being essential.

Do kids do gardening at school? They’ve stopped the wood and metalwork decades ago. And I always wonder that once the photo-op has passed what are the results of their efforts with trowel and seed packet? The consistency, the regularity of effort?

I recall my years eleven to sixteen in a village Secondary School NE England … the microscopes only ever came out of the cupboard once in five years, the biology / science teacher hopeless and uninterested, many lessons devoted to playing ‘hangman’ while he played around with his admin tasks!

We most definitely are bringing up kids that cannot make perform simple tasks to satisfactorily conclusion, cannot complete a practical task. The term ‘using ones hands’ still carries to many a derogatory inflexion to it. Lets blame the Educationalists, they have eradicated so much that is practical and geared toward a finished piece of work, not just fannying on with the apron and plastic specs. We live in a bullshit world, we are getting what we deserve.

An American style obsession driven by big business, all sizes of business with red meat and burgers will have to be re-thought, likewise population control; likewise what we spray on the fields. Probably its too late, but i would never give in, never decline to make the effort.

Aluminium levels are much ignored, not embraced as mainstream and my interest in diatoms is just too obscure (fundamental to the marine food chain) to yield anything from online searches!

Isn’t that a beautiful rendition of the lapwing!  So accurate, so characterful, a credit to the artist. Their antics, their beautiful rippling warble across upland landscape is joyful, a masterpiece of creation. To those that don’t know it, they are sadly lacking.

chemtrail diary 25th Jan 2019

I don’t want this, I didn’t ask for it and the media obfuscation / ridicule re chemtrails annoys me ie bundled up with spurious nonsense theories. All is factual here, nothing photoshopped; a nasty day full of chemtrails, on my reporting system say DQA 955 (MP)  … see bottom of post linked below to read of my reporting system, likewise search tags and categories. Note early DQA was max of 5,5,5, now its a max of 10,10,10, which allows me a finer gradation.

Previous post of mine re sat imagery … https://climate-change-briefing.com/2019/01/22/chemtrails-caught-on-nasa-imagerey/

Nothing appeared till 0800, then until 1200 noon it was continuous and quite blatant chemtrails (likewise as i type the 26th Jan ditto) …. the above link also includes sat imagery as additional proof. The sky was very much man made, aluminized.

Its obvious meteorologists / weathermen must all be under the Official Secrets Act, to not notice or comment on this is absurd.

Note the very obvious ‘aluminized sky’ … a term I’ve coined along with my DQA system and the slogan … ‘wise up – CARBON DOWN!’

And so everything we love such as pictured below is being rendered useless. I cannot see how the well heeled can swallow the bitter pill of a greener economy and lifestyle other than being massively taxed on both fuel and engine capacity, which I think will have to happen anyway.

Its imperative we live closer to work, rid ourselves of the obsession with beef and beefburgers, drastically reduce cheap air travel, stop having so many kids.

We need to forget the endless craving for yet more Economic Growth.

Plant conversion reduces with inc CO2, theres the methane time bomb not even included in the recent IPCC Report and jet stream, climate feedback loops etc have gone walkabout, escalating horribly interconnected. Marine food chain, sea life all fright now being screwed.  you cannot even find up to date data re earthworm reaction to aluminium from chemtrails nor the affects on diatoms at sea, algae, molds, bacteria as for soil health. Two year peer review and all that nonsense is now proving a hindrance I reckon. Lets say crop loss in three years, methane release out of control say year six.

wise up – CARBON DOWN !

Aluminium and earthworms …

I’ve done lots with the microscope over the years and need help in finding how increased aluminium levels are affecting earthworms. In turn this draws in the problems all insects and invertebrates and microscopic life in soil, everything. But I cannot find anything up to date. Its further compounded that chemtrails and  aluminium accumulation are still regarded as a highly subjective even suspect area of enquiry. ….. talk about fiddling whilst Rome burns!

If worms and microscopic soil life, molds, bacteria, diatoms, algae etc are much reduced then conventional agriculture is highly compromised. Earth, the soil mixture that allows us to raise plants and crops, herbs etc is a wonderful thing, even the smell of it has a specific reason and name.  I wonder how much if at all the average school pupil gets to hear of this, not as some droning ‘it has to be done’ part of a curricula but as something to be excited about, to wish to know more?

To start the ball rolling, I intend to add to this search for the compromise on soil life re inc aluminium levels and hope others can contribute  …..

http://globalskywatch.com/scientists/francis-mangels/index.html

let me paste his letter here, I quote…

Greeting to all from Francis:

We got sweep nets to check out local insects, as we have not been seeing the usual. For the last 3 years terrestrial bugs have been about 20% of normal populations. This year the populations appear to be about 10% of normal. The most populous are the true bugs and aphids, suckers, while the chewers are nearly absent except for a very few grasshoppers of the flying locust type.

The aquatics have been about 10% of normal, except in springwater areas, for 5 years. The types that live in mud are particularly absent. The trout are in poor condition, and the size of wild fish has generally declined in local streams. I wll go fishing as usual, but when I catch something, it usually has only a few terrestrial like ants in the stomach, and is usually a hatchery fish.

I’m just reporting what my sampling has found. I very much hope this is just a long-term anomaly, but I am beginning to suspect it is not because the effects are so widespread. Point pollution affects only one stream. Air pollution affects them all, and I suspect its the Welsbach elements.

O Lord, may I be all wrong about this. BF”

unquote.

Thats a start, this post re aluminium and earthworms is a work in progress.

This is useful … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollution

chemtrail slideshow …

This is not my material, however includes things we see here in NE UK and lots more too. I need to give it more time and think about what we are looking at.

Heres another online find  … http://thechemtraildiary.weebly.com/

Working out chemtrails…

This is not new to anybody, its been happening in the USA for decades ie the drift of chemtrail and using it to aluminize skies elsewhere. Lately I’m finding by early morning few if any actual chemtrails being visible above …. but here in blighty so few people are looking up at this. As stated previously any chemtrail observers are bundled up with other nonsense by the media so as to ridicule and destroy any sensible evaluation.

Lots of pics lately of the distant N/S flight path northern England ie trending over  Brampton and Carlisle, the busier main west coast flight path being above the Lake District itself. Surely to goodness this can convince anyone that chemtrails are real and true, all the crap you see in these pics from sunset yesterday ADD material to the sky, they are not behaving as per ordinary contrail.

First gallery directly below are Tuesday 8th Jan 2019.

Next day 9th Jan yes chemtrails (unfortunately) as usual. Using my DQA reporting system I’d say 933HP.AS  …  ie duration is all day 9/10; quantity is 3/10; affect is 3/10. HP is high pressure on my barometer; AS is aluminized sky. At times obviously aluminized to a moderate degree.  I need someone to feed me sightings from Cumbria, say Brampton or on that flightline.

I’d pondered all day as to 3/10 ratings and yes ‘it fits’, not an over-estimation. I dread the 955 or God forbid 977 days of the forthcoming Spring ramp-up of chemtrail activity. As for geo-engineering being the ‘reason’, I am sceptical.

Below are Wed 9th Jan 2019.

LH second down, that is a v aluminized sky much manmade.  likewise main pic, note the chemtrail drift ie haze. This is not natural.

Climate and species loss …

I had been wondering if google had been channelling me away from the likely material I search for.  I don’t know … never mind heres information we need to be sure to read and digest.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/science/2019-01-06/bulloak-jewel-butterfly-ant-mistletoe-a-web-woven-across-species/10477430

http://arctic-news.blogspot.com/2019/01/the-gathering-climate-storm-and-media-cover-up.html

People / ornery folk get tired of yet another news story as ‘climate change’ as if the subject is just part of the usual round of news items. As David Attenborough and many others point out it is ecological and planetary survival. These observers are professionals, of decades of experience. General mass civilisation IF it  continues is undergoing a complete mangling and deformation, squeezed like at no other time since we have walked upright. Already the cascade of heating, drought, ice loss, mass extinction is in slo-mo action to our eyes but realise geologically its supersonically rapid compared to any other epoch. No other epoch was industrialised and burnt / converted carbon and polluted as we have. Now it is a major re-jig of a vast array of interconnected feedback systems. Oceans are dying, food chains are being eliminated, witness diatoms a particular interest of mine.

Over Christmas we had several news stories re space exploration, furthest object, dark side of the moon etc and this seems so stupid when its here on this planet we need to focus energy and resources like at no other time, a hundred fold any Manhattan Project. I fear what we need to do will never happen. Only if this was a ‘declared war’ would the response be moving ahead at any where near the required level of urgency and application.

I look around, we still see gas guzzling commuters in SUVs, needless use of electricity, affluent massive desire for beef production, huge amount of air traffic. All could be trimmed. But are many people making an effort? Crass inept needless reasons to consume electricity such as bitcoin need curtailed.

Here in northern England I can see fine well the water table is much reduced, we just don’t get the rain. Yes, reservoirs fill up but I rate that as surface water.

I’ve always had the problem in life that its v difficult to get the information I want, the conversation.

Note the IPCC is living in a twenty year time lag from real world events and reactions. Much emasculated, much subjective.

Chemtrails obscure the suns energy for crops and universal vitality. The aluminium is causing organic growers big problems. A years observation and chemtrails can take several forms:-

  • west coast flight path to drift eastward next day,
  • multiple build up of an intense corridor,
  • chemtrail activity above an obscuring lower cloud level.
  • random.

Mass extinction … trying to understand.

https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/6th-mass-extinction-under-way-may-put-humans-at-6338783.php

Look at the contributors, for instance … Paul Erlich.

Not many bees this last year, no hubble of flies as I walk along late summer country lanes. The little critturs go first …. go ask a diatom.

Then the birds will fail and as above the pollinators and meanwhile some twat at 5G tells us how lucky we are ….

I am so glad I do not live in a city.

Nature wins every time …

Just heard on bbc r4 at 09:35 a most fascinating interview with Bernie Krause and his half century of sound recording, particularly how the volume and variety of natures soundscape has been declining for many years. The example given of the loss of water and habitat has rendered his example landscape near silent from a previous abundance of life and natures activity. Heres a vid I clicked at random, also we get a quote from William Dean Howells and so I also include the wiki. I actually did think of doing something with nature recordings, I’d collected a few dozen hours using my new Olympus DM-670 and was utterly impressed by its range and fidelity. I collected recordings out on walks and here several at say 04:30 spring thro early summer. Being out over the years I devised the June 13th shutdown which i’ve never read of anywhere else, its a ‘moveable feast’ so to speak.  Thats why i need to get this posted ASAP, I want to enjoy the atmosphere of my own garden before the bustle of the neighbourhood arrives.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Dean_Howells

A friend asked “How do you know all this stuff ?” … easy really, I use a computer at a desk and so can jot down in my daybook or diary or scraps of paper all I find interesting. Theres always pens and paper in every room in this house, books too, lots. Yet some folk think they are more ‘civilised’ than I am  … by living in stereotypical close to empty boxes !! Oh yes and no tv.

Guardian on wildlife…

Harrowing stats, all down. An open window at night might bring in a moth, 25yrs ago there would be lots and you would make sure it was only slightly ajar at night for eight months of the year. Even toads the Guardian tells us are at two thirds down in the 30 years I’ve been visiting the pit heap, funnily enough these last few years toads have been far fewer, water is fed in at a dribble from ag land further up, I wonder if and what they are spraying?

As cited previously its difficult to find up to date news of moth decline. Silence too on Pacific seabird decline and next to nothing on my favourite topic of diatoms – a strata of base level food chain that all successive levels depend upon.

I think municipal authorities could do more, excessive verge clearing must surely not help, though I do realise sapling encroachment may be part of their remit. Our local park is poorly managed say for unhindered sapling ash sprouting out of everything yet still there is the needless strimming at mid summer of any marginal herbage. So what about campion, yellow rattle or suchlike being able to set and scatter seed? Or my pending one thousand orchids scattered as seed a couple of years ago, the repeat of an experiment conducted sucessfully elsewhere. This tells me they know zilch for butterfly conservation. Also old and dead timber is not allowed to remain, hence are adamant on minimising food supply for songbirds.

UK chemtrail evidence …

Sunday morning, as predicted there are chemtrails here in north east UK;  its 11:30am  and the pic taken ten minutes ago (top l.h.) really does show weather is being manipulated, the populace and the media too. Its mainly by chance I see these things, ordinarily I’ve things to do, but I still pop out a couple of times an hour to look-see.

Its a bit like taking an absolute newbie on a days fishing, the experienced hand knows the many life cycles involved of multiple species and genera, food chains, entomology; the daily and seasonal changes and the moods to the days out on the river and the influence of the weather but to the untutored eye it would seem just next to empty, merely water flowing down a river. This is a good analogy when trying to broach the subject to people that have already been ‘got at’ by the media and tv, bundling chemtrails together with that awful term ‘conspiracy theory’. Note also on youtube where the chemtrail evidence is situated, among all sorts of paranormal/ lost cities/my cat can read oddball material.

Top left was the one that staggered me a couple of minutes ago, couldn’t get in quick enough to upload;  but I have work, things to do, so this must serve sufficient I think. My argument is won.

At the end of the day another batch of pics (below)  from this afternoon and early evening.

I haven’t used any zoom, though the camera itself is a zoom camera and therefore has a slightly narrower field of view.

Lets devise a reporting system like the well known radio communication readability, strength and tone RST ie 599 thats been in existence for well over a century.  Duration (ie number of hours in the day active)  quantity per hour (or saturation)  and overall (annoying) effect. Range zero to five for each category.  Therefore today I rate as 5-3-4 and for instance a short burst say two hours early morning but lots of them would rate as 1-4-4 on my DQA scale. copyright climate-change-briefing.com 2018

All are free to use.

*postscript 30th Dec 2018 …. for DQA lets use a max of ten for each scale. And mod slightly so that Duration is number of hours in the day; Quantity is general intensity;  A is Altered sky effect as perceived.

Look at my diary page started Aug 4th 2018, I’ll build up a few days material as diary entries. https://climate-change-briefing.com/2018/08/04/uk-chemtrails-diary/
