Repulsed at trump …

Basically he is a fair imitation of a turd, stinking unwelcome and at every turn an embarrasment. Theres no excuse now, its gone too far.

Todays Helsinki charade with lover boy / puppet master Putin was indeed a shambles.

Treason is fair comment and the most prevelant response; a gold plated shit.

One to one behind closed doors, no advisers present, no agenda, no goals, no minutes kept … COME ON AMERICA GET REAL !!

I think its time the American public, Senate, whatever turned on this con-man called trump and moved forward, but as bbc r4 ‘The World Tonight’ mentioned it would be seen as a coup and so traditional democratic voting practice must be followed ie 2020.

trumps twenty word vocab was at straining point, if he turned up for a job I’d never give him one, theres nothing he can do. He trashed his own Intel people to side with Putin, wow they really must have the dirt on him, financial and whatever. Seemed very much to be reading Putins script and sounding dumb whilst doing it.

My heart bleeds for men of integrity in America, he is fast selling you to the lowest bidder.

Likewise these last couple of days Elon Musk has shown a side that is utterly repulsive. To insult a man and in turn all the team when they have successfuly carried out a most gargantuan feat in rescuing the trapped bods in a Thailand cave system demonstrates a most nasty ego. Musk is often referred to as an ‘engineer’ but I think not, a writer of code ie paypal but nothing more. His cars are certainly not as green as they are promoted, far better no cars at all, they will soon date once eventually delivered and praise as Eliot noted must never be over lavished; something needing to be noted by his busy online sycophants.  And whats this thing about space travel, lets look at home first. Colonise Mars crap repels me, wow thats a pleasant wake up each morning, looking out over …. nothing. If Musk really had worked as ‘an engineer’ in the sense that I know the term ie practical hands-on physical objects of complication (that sometimes can go wrong when you least want them to) he would know to keep quiet, not to barge into situations thinking he knows it all.

Third gripe tonight and its not easy to avoid A1 first class blunders on present day media and broadcasting was a final piece on bbc r4 ‘The World Tonight’ that informed us of the Human Zoo exhibited in 1958 in Belgium, unfortunate folk from the Congo literally fed peanuts and bananas by visitors/ gawping twits. Thankfully it was shut down. But what the piece did not mention was the prior previous involvement of Belgium with the Congo. Astoundingly dire, of a huge scale, shameful and still to this day not fully acknowledged. To mention one but not the other leaves the listening public woefully underinformed.

Postscript : earlier at 5:35 pm bbc r4 ‘PM Programme’ we had a most odd adulatory intro to the Elon Musk Thai cave story, a whole load of how he is so clever, is saving the planet (!) etc  ….. some naive young girlie reporter really did demonstrate her inexperience. How does this material get past vetting or a dry ‘run-through’? My view as I near retirement is that I know more than these people, maybe less an IQ but at least some common sense. bbc r4 has mostly nearly always throughout the trump Presidency given him the benefit of the doubt and mostly never even reacted to trumps obvious lies, nonsense and bluster.

UK protests at trump – Liam Fox is wrong …

I’m sorry Mr Liam Fox but the modern day democratic countries that we live in here in the UK allow us to express our revulsion at a pip-squeak retarded man-baby that has done everything possible to insult, damage and render anxious all corners of society home and abroad, excepting of course those extreme regimes that he’s done everything possible to court. How much of this is Bannon and Stephen Miller, both of which it seems were present in the UK for trumps visit (a gut wrenching revelation for any UK citizen) and how much is Putins influence we’ll never quite know until he’s out of Office. For instance the complete year long NK Kim J-un fiasco was in my opinion an orchestrated charade to reach exactly the climax of meaningless handshakes in front of flags as it turned out to be.

trump deliberately is turning the clock back to the worst of the 1930’s and is hell bent on destroying all the well intentioned reforms of the intervening years. He wants to devalue and destroy and has deliberately gone after NATO, G7, The Paris Accord, Pacific Trade, NAFTA, everything and how clearly does it need to be spelled out that he is both Putins lapdog and an unusual case of mental disfunction. Liam Fox says ‘The President of the United States’ and how we should serve respect on this visit,  well show me him because it most certainly is not the ignorant easily fooled dotard with a nasty streak we saw visit the UK last week crowbarred in as the reality tv election outsider by Russian meddling (and a ridiculous Comey news flash re Hilarys emails days before the voting) …. funny that name ‘Fox’ …. matches the tv news outlet that puts a favourable spin on anything trump is liable to do.

I wonder, to why Liam Fox himself is so misguided and out of tune with current enlightened thinking and why his near worthless but certainly offensive utterance was given so much news time today Saturday here in the UK? Perhaps to indicate the quisling type mentality still pervading the elite? Like being at school again and having to show respect to some utterly useless waste of space teacher! There is nothing that trump has done that does not draw offence from decent folk either side of the Pond. He couldn’t even turn up in time for the Queen, then the poor woman having to try at ninety two to side step this monstrous obstacle, trumps face as usual in seventh heaven at any form of military inspection or parade. This illustrates how dumbed down trump and his world functions at, all gloss, gilt and zero substance, zero brains.  Praise yes where praise is due but at this level of hierachy damning criticism also where applicable. And all the expense of this visit and half of it turns into a holiday jaunt and promo event at his golf club! As all of his foreign jaunts have proven (apart from the Putin love-fest due on Monday) trump really does not see them as anything more than a shakey-hands good to see you shallow encounter when in fact such events would normally be the icing on the cake to seal lots of behind the scenes negotiation and diplomacy to effect some new accord or agreement.

Lucky he can be ‘turned around’ a little (thats of course as long as you are not treading on Putin territory) …. and the likes of Theresa May have the wit and aptitude to help him understand and realise some of what he does not comprehend, perhaps introducing real world seasoned reality instead of the over-deferential courtiers and sycophants that surround him at home. Its obvious that he allows the ‘wrong people’ to whisper in his ear at home, old white men of extreme wealth that want things back to the ‘good old days’ of obscene insulating wealth that in actual fact never existed for the ordinary person. Its how you look back at previous generations that marks your place in society, when I look back my ancestors had lives of uncertainty and hard work, its difficult to realise some people will look back and see meals prepared out of sight, fresh laundry in abundance, a driver to take them everywhere, men who garden for them. How else could the big old houses, townhouses, houses that circle the Park have originated!  The media and writers often portray the past with an unrealistic bias, as if a forcing house for a novel, an ogre for a father and a mother as distant and unhinged, surely to God in the nineteenth century there were some even keeled well adjusted rich folk? An aside, my apologies.

I worried about the floating inflatable, sure to offend and trump is not likely to take it in an ordinary manner, to my mind probably caused more trouble than realised, it will stick in his mind. Liam Foxs’ words need to be re-framed and taken a step further in that here is a unique never before seen President that whilst he is on our shores we can educate and inform of our position and of our conventional allies, DJT has a lot of catching up to do.   So we could say it all needs to be managed so our visitor does not see or face anything likely to cause offence, from this premise I can see what Liam Fox was trying to say. And its here where I have wandered into a contradiction of myself in that trump is so unhinged, so regressive, bombastic and hurtful and offensive to all free people that it cannot be allowed that he does not meet or see or hear of protest. Liam Fox says trump shouldn’t hear protestors, oh deary me …. well why should nervous anxious families be torn apart at the border ….  and the idea of ‘brown’ be taken back to the ‘old days’ …  healthcare pushed back to the bad old days, evil regimes courted, trade wars, Moslems framed as second class, world diversity denigrated ?

Liam Fox needs to think upon the increasing and needless militarisation of the USA, the needless dismantling of Obamacare, the refusal of refugees, the Border Wall fiasco (and its militarisation signalling trumps acceptance of climate change) EPA madness and destruction, networks ie G7 etc all touted as ‘useless’ the list is endless and trump is indefensible. For protest not to occur should be unthinkable.

Liam Fox made the inexcusable mistake of calling trump ‘the leader of the free world’ which is utter nonsense, that term having long been relinquished, his Inaugration Speech spelling out nothing but a degenerative nastiness and subsequently as evident from his methods, manners,  behaviour and actions. Hotelier and beauty pageant host does not make him leader of the free world. Witness how he deals with questions from CNN, unwarranted in his putdown and nastiness, even reserving venom for the BBC! At least they partly got their own back a few days before his UK arrival  in running the story of trump attending parties of four men with fifty wanna be models and some girls being underage.

On a broader view we seem to live in an age where increasingly high profile movers and shakers with the advantage of money seem not to realise the knowledge and hard won slow learned experience that is required for many aspects of this worlds activity whether its International Relations or making cars. ‘Doing stuff’ is harder than it looks and too much attention and value is placed on slick talk and the glib and shallow tweet. And from this we can say that many kids are being underinformed, its a modern curse, not being alerted as to how high the hurdles actually are.

Following from this we can see that the web and instant access to all manner of predominantly ‘simple facts’ can fool us to thinking we can know it all. Nothing can be further etc. As is proven with the fake President and Mr Musk thinking he can solve the cave rescue with a quick lash-up job, its the people at the sharp end with many years of developed knowledge and technique that are the masters of their craft; demonstrating its vital to realise …  ‘to know what we don’t know’.

Pressure from the money …

Same old story and frightening to think that ‘human pressure’ alone can seek out and render to ‘extinct’  things that should inhabit niche habitat every square mile. But farmers strive to take over and render uniform anything known as landscape, their abhorence of anything non-uniform and non-industrial in scale knows no bounds, their plough renders useless …. and really for what n’th purpose?

Streams, brooks, burns, ditches, puddles and ponds always interested me, I look back over my childhood and mostly it was starved of such things but luckily the village I moved to age seven had a flooded quarry and so there was  a wee chance of pretendy fishing once I got to know about it. To get excited for this topic google image for such as … diatoms, radiolarians, dinoflagellates, testate rhizopods, all are easily found by the amateur microscopist and something i think seemingly never included in anything by David Attenborough – I hope to be corrected as I don’t watch tv.  The former ie diatoms I think is responsible for 20% of the worlds CO2 to O conversion but no-one has ever seen one with the naked eye and also important for Oceanic cloud/weather systems; likewise it is burning ancient diatomaceous oil that has led to a) their demise and b) our own inevitable decline as a species. A pre-war copy of Strasburgers ‘Botany’ has a wonderful section ‘Cryptogams’ ie hidden things (microscopic) well worth seeking out, but it must be pre-war when the engravings  were so fascinating, latter day editions are cold and useless.

I subscribe to E360 from Yale and its a very good source of quality information. Todays article is heartening but also sad in that aquarium keepers are providing a very key and important role in keeping alive species of freshwater fish that are endangered or possibly extinct. Thinking about it, could we not create more bye-waters and secluded runnels that could acccomodate such fish? And thinking about it, in the west here generally there seems zero interaction between inhabitants and their environment; unless of course its some sort of (usually short-lived) volunteer group or funding initiative, the kind we see photographed in our local free papers. You can tell I’m not impressed. But wheres the staying power, inter-generational involvement or handing on of knowledge and experience … guess what…  its the 21st century and theres next to none.  Progress huh … bah humbug. All my own work has been at zero cost other than time and application, two dozen species at the pit-heap and activity elsewhere, note the three big patches of yellow flag iris when heading south over the local bridge here and the so-called wild flower area at H Park all volunter ‘group’ activity will be much eclipsed by my own unaided effort (other than drive and insight) a hundred yards further on.

I quote from this excellent E360 article …

The GWG maintains several species that are extinct in the wild and has boosted the fortunes of some. For example, the finescale splitfin (Allodontichthys polylepis) was only scientifically described in 1988. By 2010 it was thought to be extinct in the wild and there were only eight individuals left in captivity in Europe, in a Dutch hobbyist’s tank. Koeck brought these to the Vienna bunker “ark” and began a studbook-based breeding program to retain genetic diversity. There are now about 350 individual finescale splitfins being cared for by various GWG members, and in 2016 a GWG field trip rediscovered a wild population in a Mexican river. unquote.

A no-fly Climate Conference …

About time too … the insanity of an African country flying four hundred delegates to a Arctic climate conference a couple of years back illustrates the need to be skype based. There needs to be a big readjustment in getting people out of the ‘hop on a plane’ mentality, I’ve always maintained this for decades, it is needless. Work local, live local.  This means a return to an organic style neighbourhood that has all the necessary needs and connections nearby.  I think also there will be massive population corrections, whether we like it or not and to resurrect Chinas one child policy would serve well enough; but there’ll be other corrections anyway to help us on the way to reduce numbers.

Prof Jeffrey D Sachs (Columbia University) tells us we have a 30 year window to get things changed, implemented and working, Sweden for example is ahead of most. The dreadful void of  a POTUS 45 trump withdrawing from the Paris Agreement and departing early so as to miss the G7 Climate Discussion (to cosy up to a lets face it stage managed play-out since taking office with K J-un) is hindering humanity. As Jeff Sachs tells us countries cannot operate in isolation.

http://jeffsachs.org/category/topics/climate-change-environment/

Lots of articles and detail to read above.

Heres the vid below and its link …

As Orwell predicted language is a major tool of oppression.

trump had  ‘quality time’ ….. alone with K J-un.

What did they talk about? It must have been excruciating for K J-un to hear via translation trumps usual garbage talk, “People are saying, I’ve heard good things, soon we, amazing fantastic, he’s a great guy a really great guy” etc etc  …. theres only so many minutes this junk can fill the space. And it ended up as surveying for condos and what a great beach that is, I’ve seen those beaches  …

I’ve always maintained all schoolkids need the old Roman subject of Rhetoric, 2k years old but more vital than ever. Even modern day speech writers go back to and are very aware of what the original masters could do with words. But nowadays words are being used to dumb down to such an extent its gone through the floor. Fox News for instance in some households (many in fact) would be intolerable yet still for those that like to hear that sort of thing, to reinforce their viewpoint it is allowed to squawk.

People seem unable to really see through to the facts, even bbc r4 news is riddled with bias and can spout things that are actually incorrect, its a regular occurrence particularly in its seeming endless refusal to paint trump in his true colours, as to how bad he actually is. His chaos even a year ago was clearly visible as evil.

He needs to be booed, there needs to audible protest at every turn, every appearance.

Theres a term ‘semantics’ ie the meaning and relationship of words and boy-o-boy we increasingly need this tool of criticism to get a handle on what is ACTUALLY happening in the USA. As many people say ie Noam Chomsky others and this link below we must get past trumps endless churn and chaos and see the real dismantling and greed that is running riot in presentday POTUS 45 USA. I try to keep these posts brief and hope the main effort of any passerby is to read or listen to the link yet for example the present separation of children from parents at the US Border is indeed cruel. The last time this happened was with Japanese residents in the USA eighty years ago and as everyone realises was the darkest stain in the history of 20C America …and trump is repeating it. Seldom I am coarse myself but he acts the blind tyrant at G7 then flies to K J-un for a butt kissing session, later wishing ‘his people’ sat up to attention when HE spoke.

trump is …

coarse,

unthinking

knows nothing from history

refuses to face the truth in anything

mangles the spoken word till it is worthless

total anti-democracy yet speaks of a fictitious populace he wishes to ‘help’

a con man

and is riding the American people unashamedly.

The above actually fit precisely both Hitler and Stalin,  Mao I concede was well read but nonetheless twisted presentday facts and procedure to his own inept and un-needed manufactured fantasy; ignoring practical experience, hard won methods and practices. Mao in fact being one of the most impractical men to walk the earth. Yes, a brain malfunction/inverting handicap that is shared with trump. As if an advanced form of early teen contrariness.

With so much so-called ‘college education’ of the general population how and why is trump able to get away with this ???

Heres a worthwhile read to try and get some light and reasoned thinking focused onto the present day trumpian nightmare … but it needs action, its a cliche but words are not enough. And just thinking aloud, why did Keith Olbermann bow out all uncharacteristically smiles and job done … when in fact theres worse to come??

Googling for the Gulags ….

… and I find this incredibly interesting post re thawing permafrost:-

http://large.stanford.edu/publications/power/references/wolf/

Its subject is the Kolyma, something I’d never heard of but now seems so important, I need to get a pole centred map of the northern hemishere rigged up or maybe better to draw one myself and therefore learn by doing, to be better memorised. Funny, this would be a few evenings simple near zero cost hobby yet how few if any would ever do such a thing, its not premade or drawn all coloured and finished down a wire and the outcome is that I will have memorised the map I have drawn myself. Likewise google the places, the rivers and get a sense of it all. Zero cost carbon free travel.

This link above is all you need for sixty minutes of getting an idea of the vast uninhabited spaces in Russia that are or were permafrost. Literally, as the permafrost thaws all the bits of hair, skin and whatever will now be coming alive with microbial activity, releasing some CO2 and mostly methane because of being in an anaerobic ie oxygen deprived situation trapped beneath the surface.

You can have all the apps, ten lane highways, three car families and wifi control in the world but its all irrelevant junk as nature and simple chemistry and physics run to a new as yet unknown equilibrium for the planet.

WordPress likes a pic, heres a link ….

Follow the link to see ownership, its not mine. The strata displayed is fascinating and something that I would always be looking for, taking notice of in my five decades of rambling; looking at land disturbance, exposed strata, quarry faces, lots! Likewise the sky, thats why chemtrails jarr so much with me.

Heres another thin yet profitable ‘link’ or connection that unfolds … theres a Dreadnoughts sea shanty ‘Old Maui’ that mentions the Kamchatka Sea and lo and behold we have another profitable area of study.

Read of the Yukaghir people and their unique language, sadly disappearing … https://www.rbth.com/society/2014/01/17/the_yukaghirs_a_nomadic_siberian_tribe_on_the_bring_of_extinction_33149.html

What is trump about?

trump (and I deny him upper case) to my mind is only a tiny part of a more hidden dirty collection of regressive nasty old white men driven by greed and ego. In the USA they deny any sensible effort to help with climate change and endlessly push back all the enlightened advances or recent decades. trump fine well knows climate change is on the way, hence his obsession with a wall with Mexico and his need for it to hold back what will be vast numbers of climate refugees, already a wall that is being militarised. Likewise his gagging of the EPA (ie the term climate change is forbidden) and trumps abandoning the poor and needy.

Noam Chomsky a man that is growing increasingly valuable in this world offers sage advice. Heres one of his briefer youtubes  ….

Increasingly I can see that media and news is being manipulated and is slanted to control the recipient. For instance look how the notion of chemtrails is bundled with ‘controversy theory’ and ‘mind control’ when in fact all we want is for ‘ornery folk to realise the skies above are not natural. So much is in decline ie Pacific seabird die off of two years ago, bee decline, diatom collapse, reduced green plant CO2 to O transpiration, impending methane etc etc is deliberately under-reported. Its a bit like the old ‘D’ notice gag, and no doubt each country has its own version. The USA no longer because of trump lists and reports ‘deaths at work’ this data is now not published, one of many instances of the dismantling of Government in the USA.

Chomsky can do something called ‘thinking’ which in itself is not a great feat but strangely is becoming rare, countries produce vast amounts of graduates but what do we have to show for it???

postscript … heres an article that sheds some light on the troubled trumpian times we have to cope with …. http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/medical_examiner/2017/03/donald_trump_isn_t_mentally_ill_he_s_evil.html?via=gdpr-consent
