Who are you on the web?

I know folk that elaborate and near fantasise whilst i have to stand there in all amicability listening to their preposterous stories, previous roles in employment, outlandish car insurance claims, bogus university courses and general misinformation.

So to what extent do these bright bunnies fantasise online? Who do they align themselves with? What is real if anything? And what image do they wish to project?

If all they indulge in is a form of role play on sites thankfully I’ll never click then so what, thank goodness I’m bright and quick enough not to get mired down in such nonsense, neither do I have such a great need to belong nor to appear anything other than what I actually am.

But there are ‘serious actors’ to use an irritating and trendy expression, we had the predictable story this morning on bbc radio 4 news of surprise surprise the Russians with thousands of bogus accounts have been planting masses of phoney material onto discussion pages of various websites, masquerading as concerned comment from US citizens but just wishing to skew what should be real opinion; I suppose Ivan wanting to demonstrate the degeneracy of the west and our values are failing. All comes back to the useful ‘nonsense vehicle’ trump and how Ivan hitched a free ride culminating in the dreadful scenes of Jan 6th. Another instance of the web gaining too great a hold over what we read, what hopefully we evaluate and spit out again.

My evening window …

… is open!

But no moths in two hours whatsoever have entered into my kitchen and this is from a large garden full of established shrubs and including beyond countless various nooks and crannies.

There is something wrong, that is for sure.

But a google search reveals next to nothing of up to the minute (or year) moth decline here in the UK.

Luckily my garden displays maturity, complex planting ie a great jumble of many different things and many many niche environments, all mostly never disturbed by any human ie me.

As per usual after the summer solstice the nights seem to be cutting in quickly. This is not something I revel in, luckily a couple of nights ago I treat myself to a car ride up to where for near twenty years we fed horses and me n whatever pet dog went round on our circular walk of an hour. The place is loaded with memories, I fully realise the value of this ‘extra-curricular activity’ and am moving toward when time permitting to ‘get out more’ to stay in touch with this focus of location from years gone past.

The June shutdown of birdsong seemed early this year, I generally name it as the ‘June 13th shutdown’, but this year things seem a bit off course, earlier. A pigeons nest I suspect rock pigeon, was found destroyed and eggs scattered in my garden this morning. I wonder at the new tenants in the let property next door, very cat orientated but also I suspect against garden birds and their song. Why do I think this …. leylandii next door felled to zilch, I suspect her complaints, a dark woman I suspect wanting her own way, I doubt she’ll have much to do with me. Also obviously ‘very set in their ways’, as if at thirty five going on seventy.

Good news is that both birdboxes on rear of house host bee colonies. My garden provides lots of flowering plants, but I look further afield at neighbouring gardens and its a pathetic spectacle, I look around and all is barren, ignorant nothingness and I reckon the birds, insects and small animals likewise think the same. I think its fair to say they vote with their feet so to speak and most winged things flock to my place.

bbc r4 news bias…

… around 0800 BST here in the UK yet more incredulous bbc pro-trump bias from the rolling news programme BBC Radio 4 – Today, 06/05/2021

trump was referred to as ‘The President’ and within minutes as ‘Leader of the Republican Party’. One can throw all manner of words and insults toward donald j trump but one could never call him a politician!!!

This pro-trump bbc r4 unquestioning acceptance of the most lazy ill-educated and hapless encumbant of the White House with great manner to deceive and corrupt all he touches has for four years been presented in a most unreal light of bias from bbc r4 ‘Today’ morning news and interview programme.

We also heard a top-bod interview with facebook this morning (re trumps ban) and bbc r4 totally incapable of receiving as a ‘given’ that trump incited violence, encouraged ‘the wrong sort’ and generally we are informed revelled in the Capitol Jan 6th breakdown in Law and Order. A shouting mob and violent too, creating great fear and in fact injury and death. As one commentator remarked, imagine the crackdown if these were predominantly coloured folk; its a fact from transcripts and witness statements of security and police on duty that day that all security and awareness seemed deliberately to have been ‘wound down’.

What these hapless ‘grasping for a cause’ individuals and demented ‘rent-a-mob’ should realise is that the path into the Capitol is via the voting ballot, not by screaming, paramilitary attire and creating great fear in anyone not part of the rampaging rabble, its called democracy.

I think there was more ‘organisation’ went into this than is currently being discussed. And I think we know from what direction that came from; trump-the-destroyer.

Ironic, we have iphones and sophisticated cell phone technology yet all it has accomplished in this case is a clarion call to assemble these dangerous thugs, it all compounds to a scene no different than two thousand years ago. Later footage released of the ‘horned individual’ reciting some mumbo jumbo psuedo christian incantation / prayer in the Capitol was a most accurate portrayal of how skewed non-thinking and ignorant the whole escapade had become.

An end result of no substance and no way forward, just like trump himself.

Note they never let trump talk to an adult …

Have you noticed in the four year term of office trump never once was capable of an adult informed conversation. He is incapable of such a thing, no reading, no knowledge, no experience … nothing! trump bar room innuendo and brag serves as his mature and (un) evolved conversation, ‘Mr Paper Thin’ himself. I know people hereabouts that as long as one takes an ‘anti-brown’ stance or anti-Moslem, one is regarded as ‘in the fold, one of us’. Wow this is low-brow junk, well suited to the four years of now ended trump exploitation.

I am wholly justified in this criticism because the position demands and requires a person of high calibre (they can read, think, assimilate) and so the world was dealt a paper thin tv adept, totally out of his depth. Tellingly the ONLY in depth conversation for trump in four years of fakery was two hours with Putin in Helsinki, something which is without doubt the willing and criminal act of treason.

Theres such a thing as ‘standards’ ie of capability and effort, something continually lacking in the sad mockingly inept so-called presidency of trump. We are left with a covid response in tatters, a diminished cowering Fauci (shame upon him and Birx) and a long list of wrecking ball dismantlings and willfull neglect. Scientists and experts were much threatened, the EPA was emasculated, a silly wall amounting to a brainless chant, climate change was denied for a full four years, all these things are an insult to the human project, our existence and our intelligence.

trump is a freeloader, he has ridden America for four years, surely anyone can see this?

He’ll hang around though, pretending theres a future for him, but in reality he is a ‘Nowhere Man’. He’d better get ready for the orange jumpsuit. America needs to do this, it needs to exorcise itself of this stupidity.

donald j trump is NO politician …

I’ve heard some terrible names applied to donald j trump but POLITICIAN is most certainly the most inaccurate and most certainly the most inapplicable that one could imagine.

Snake oil salesman, conman, pretender, fake, fool, creep yes all are applicable but never politician.

trump cares nothing for the good and betterment of the ordinary American citizen, cares nothing for the nurture and development of the USA (other than tax handbacks to his big-money backers) … even the determining of what is ‘his country’ is uncertain. Putin to donalds mind seems more credible and certain than the USA, witness donalds certainty he’d rather believe Putin than his the USA Intelligence Services, donald is quite open and vocal on the matter.

This is treason, trump is a traitor and at the most elementary level a waste of time.

America has been let down badly with four years of trump fakery and wannabe dictatorship.

As I’ve said many times, any remaining sad and pointless trump backer needs to sit down with pen and paper and with meaning and good sense try to state in their own words what it is beyond the MAGA slogan that they think … a) trump means by this and … b) where trump is going / will achieve in the years to come. I think we will find just as with the pointless MAGA slogan there is no value or worth to anything trump. People have been hoodwinked and conned. Wake up!

The scandal of it all…

trump got off, at least for impeachmant, this is scandalous!

trumps cotton-stick wooden doll defence team were third grade buffoons, chancers at the Last Choice Saloon, screwing up at every turn but as with the cavalry the old diehard truth deniers Lynsey Graham et al all came to the rescue, stood by defending what is illegal and criminal and needs to be put right, justice must be seen to be done.

This now needs to be turned into criminal proceedings. trump has signalled criminals of all kinds need not fear justice or the judgement and norms of morality and ethics, the stage is set for Gotham disorder just as in the comic books. trump and his stooges still cling on to the vacuous pointless MAGA punchline, none of them or any of his supporters being able to expand quite what needs to be ‘again’ or what the ‘greatness’ is they are looking for. You mean I ask ‘strong arm illegality’ as per fascism?

trumps defenders citing his now absence from the White House as voiding any requirement for Impeachment is a stupid reasoning, is mincing words and truth denial, no matter how many days or months pass after the crime justice must be served. Just goes to show as per the old German Fascist observation from the 1930’s and Second War that make sure your lies are big ones.

trump has sown what in future years will be the further shrivelling of the United States in all respects, Putin has got what he wanted. Kids are useless hung up on phones and pointless media, minorities are fearful, the stinking rich ever more stinking. Four wasted years of Climate Denial, of denial of any truth or good sense.

trump and the clenched fist …

Does it register with people the ever present clenched fist of trump, which to my mind is a fascist salute. trump also speaks yesterday the 13th of Jan of ‘our Movement’ …. uh-oh are we not supposed to be within a Democracy? Stinks to high heaven as with anything trump.

Never once have I heard trump refer to or mention ‘Democratic Process’ which of course much as with the American Constitution is just something he is completely blind toward; wilfully intentionally refusing to accept.

Michael Moore tells us that on the day of the storming of the Capitol arriving workers noticed how few security and Capitol Police were present, as if a Saturday. Michael also tells us no police helicopters were overhead, no horse mounted officers, merely a skeleton staff. And as is universally realised if these had been solely black instead of solely white the police presence and reaction would have been totally different. Meanwhile trump fixates on his tv screen and cares not one jot of any democratic process.

Footage is now appearing as to how malicious was the intent of the rioters, of wanting to lynch and hang Mike Pence, some idiots even constructing a gallows we are told. Again, I cannot fact check so this is all secondhand unverified anecdote. Media and tv suffered badly, the UK ITV footage with a reporter at the forefront was harrowing to watch. But surely the FBI was aware of the underlying cellphone traffic? Surveillance should not bother anyone if you are ‘legit’. I am all for ID cards, a onetime email penpal in the UK of high educational attainment was adamant ID cards should never happen, but why fearful! I’d be proud to possess one.

You can easily find on youtube cellphone evidence of the madness of the malicious perpetrators, horrifyingly stupid, a rabble never can accomplish anything, they should have known this from the start and most certainly know it now. Collective IQ the lowest imaginable, much like their leader. Strange also the fetish for flags, who supplied those? I think they were ‘tooled up’ by some vested interest. I also think the rabble did not seem present at the footage on trumps bizzare pre-insurrection stage performance, maybe intentionally keeping off camera. There has to be other people pulling strings, lets hope the authorities know more than they are giving away.

But again, trump using the term ‘movement’ sounds amiss, suspicious indeed.

Sitting here listening to the latest trump ‘speech’ we see a very dangerous individual, Janus double-talk, unhinged, evil; reading a script written for him but immediately he will be wishing to say the opposite.

postscript a few minutes ago yet again bbc r4 news this morning at 0745 tells us how trump will not be abandoned by the Republican Party … uh! … yes he will be abandoned, it is utterly essential for the sake of Democracy, trump right now being as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool to be crude and blunt about it.

bbc radio 4 bias…

A minute ago at 10:30pm bbc r4 on ‘The World Tonight’ still managed to find someone to extol the virtues (!?) of trump and knock Joe Biden. Telling us of the good trump has done in Africa etc (excuse me, Yemen?) …. and that Biden may just be ‘no good and empty’. Wow this is bias, how far have they had to scrape to find some creep to inform us of the merits of trump !!!

This beggars belief.

As I type, some scheming numskull who has no justification to occupy the White House, to have wasted four years of both Americas and of the Worlds time resides in the White House and will be ranting at the tv, phoning cronies, for ever droning on in pointless ignorant and ineducable circles; four wasted years expended on Corporate self interest and the worship of ignorance which has upended good sense, forward progress and common decency.

trump has no interest whatsoever in the general citizen, of the people that work and keep the country going.

The bbc should be ashamed of itself for the countless umpteenth time; if I were a blind person and had bbc r4 news as my principal or only news source I would be feeding on a very skewed and incorrect assessment of donald j trump.

Needless to say I’ve had to turn the radio off.

Fiddling whilst Rome burns …

Would Nero himself have shook his head at the donald trump callous and scheming unjust rule or perhaps given him the thumbs up applauding “Thats my boy” at trumps catastrophic deafness to the problems that rest at his feet. This is indeed a chapter of misrule, a chapter soon best forgotten, a sordid hidden agenda pandering to Corporations and the over-wealthy, inciting the bad element of society as an instrument of this misrule and steam rollering over any good regard to environment, the less well off and the real and impending climate catastrophe. So much deafness. I’ve also thought all along Dr Fauchi left a lot to be desired, too low key an approach; a quiet geniality unsuited to standing up to the crooked regime, Fauchi being so reticent, barely audible to the point of being compliant with trumps misrule. What a disaster, Birx too from what I can see.

It baffles me why so many people still voted for trump as of a few weeks ago, I can only assume there is a lack of education and a lack of reality which allows them be hoodwinked, to be drawn in by simplistic slogans and a feeling of ‘hurt’. trump couldn’t care less about anyone or anything as long as it favours trump, upholds his tv strongman image, a hollow construct of near zero education, experience or ability to hold Office, a tv cardboard man.

Quite cunningly trump has fooled (and harnessed) a lot of marginalised disaffected folk that somehow need to feel they have an alternative take on facts that can explain their hurt. Of the more energetic of them think of Maos Red Guards.

trump is indeed evil, my four years of preaching that his chaos is intentional and actually is the definition of evil unfortunately has been borne out as correct.

trump has blood on his hands, now he’s up there with all the nasty crackpots of history; trump needs to be tried at The Hague for his constant disregard and dismissal of covid 19 and climate change.

The trump similarity to Mao is quite uncanny, both always surrounded by ‘yes-men’, both adamantly refusing to listen to experts, both Mao and trump always totally impractical, both offering total disregard to the plight of others. Both Mao and trump ensuring a revolving door of new faces soon after to be discarded. As with gangsters Mao and trump are callous to the point of cruelty, totally blind to law and justice and decency, only allowing those to remain that are able to spout their own version of an alternative reality, the bigger the liar the more respect you’ll get from donald. Kayleigh is indeed a swamp animal. Pence the appointed White House Eunuch remains silent and bafflingly trump somehow associates with excellence, as ‘managing the covid disaster’! Oh yes I know, it was another lying pointless empty gesture for tv … thats my boy!

I was pushed to press finger to key from hearing a report on bbc r4 news a few minutes ago from the States of nurses pleading, crying, at the end of their tether at the lack of leadership and total mismanagement by the trump Administration (I deny trump upper case). This week we heard from the now hardly ever seen indolent dictator (another Mao similarity) how well Vice Pres Pence had handled the issue! Small change space-boy Pence should have at least had the presence of mind to shout out “Sir I’ve done nothing!” This is utter B/S certainly to divert, intentionally misleading and to hoodwink the gullible; yet another trump style vacuous soundbite to keep him on the news cycle, to feed his beloved tv presence. America really does have a problem in the shape of trump and his unelected, unqualified kids, they need to be packing their bags, filling their cardboard boxes; a nepotic crew totally unsuited to the priveliges and positions they have been given, yet adept at working an audience and handling a microphone, Ivanka certainly but with Jared one can’t help but feel he’s just bitten into a lemon.

When I see the leader of a nation I want to see skills, knowledge, experience, insight and leadership, not some jumped up tv pretender cum gangster, blood on his hands.

postscript, two days later the Mao analogy gains further similarity, it suddenly struck me, when one considers that trump uses his young white hoodlums as Mao used his ‘Red Guards’ ie unpoliced beyond the law terrorists backed by the man at the top. Quite a sad, lamentable tie-in between Mao and trump I think.

What is ‘greatness’ ….

It so bugs me near half of America voted for trump, something I would have thought never possible, considering trump blindness to the struggle of ordinary people, to catastrophic climate change, to the need for intelligent and considerate International Relations, to the humane handling of the needy and homeless, the list is endless. Imagine, trump the Great Helmsman steering us through the turbulent rapids of life as what was the leader of the Free World !

With trump the analogy with The Great Helmsman himself Mao is quite uncanny, both utterly self obsessed, both utterly impractical and remote from real life. Living in an unhinged fantasy, all brand all ‘image’.

Theres nothing I’m saying here I haven’t said before, the absurd roller coaster of endless hirings and firings, the total lack of listening and learning from experts, all these were also the flaws of Mao. Once he is extracted from the White House it would be good and proper for him to be tried at The Hague for crimes against humanity, perfectly in order as the two parallel counts of climate change denial and covid 19 are denial and mismanagement on a catastrophic scale, a wilful absurd mindset from a two-bit fool propelled into public notice by excess wealth, a crummy reality tv show (looking back so VERY STAGED and PHONEY) .. and a perfect actor as a useful mouthpiece for his Masters. I also think we can draw another parallel with Mao, Russia was quite happy to see China make an utter fool of itself with the useless cruel years of The Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution and another analogy likewise with the use of slogans.

So why is near half of America still seemingly clinging to the idea of trump and his carousel of installed yes-men and family members? The nightly lies?

It baffles, bewilders and saddens me to see grown people cling to a slogan, as if make America great (again) can stand any scrutiny … as if what period you would wish to go back to other than the present … the 1930’s ?? It also baffles me trump on the face of it gives China such a hard time, yet ‘Business America’ has ridden on a wave of low cost imported goods from China that have created incredulous profit margins and incredible $$££ profit.

That word ‘great’ grates upon me … a great idea? a great time? a great performer? … the poet Ezra Pound said “Great is a Victorian word but I wouldn’t want to be without it”. Yes, what indeed does it actually mean?
