The Office of Prime Minister has been tragically degraded by yesterdays screeching U-turn by hopeless Prime Minister Sunak. He has no idea how his slithering words sound so phoney on this un-needed un-debated climate about-turn. Wow!
What mattered/ matters is we have momentum for improving our carbon footprint, with Sunaks disastrous meddling yesterday the pace of march for reduction of carbon footprint will have surely slackened. We have many people onboard to get the right things done (or did have). He certainly is tone deaf and much distanced from ‘ornery folk, how ironic as the reason for this new position is incredibly his supposed empathy with the ordinary people, his concern for them, his desire to ‘help’. Must be excellent to know as a tenant of some awful crumby rental Sunak no longer requires minimum standards for insulation! Remember he is upper caste Asian, his mind sees society different from that of say near all UK citizens.
I am sickened. Car companies must have spent many millions, worked very hard, mindful of the Governments schedule, this must feel like a stab in the back. Why shld they ever trust the Govt again, why should they seriously consider the UK for any new investments, already we were amazingly ‘hanging-on’ after the effects of Brexit, now one wld assume we they will be waving goodbye.
Rishi Sunak always struck me as a very capable Head Boy, moving behind the scenes, in and out of the Headmasters office, destined for great things, but there is MUCH that he is blind toward and has no intentions of becoming aware of, never mind concerned. Look at all the stoppages and protests of many kinds, he is totally indifferent, can offer a few words of soundbite but dismissive and ineffectual.
Theres too many Asians of the wrong sort in the Cabinet, they back each other up, they do not have a reliable or appropriate sense of critical thinking, they will push forward any offensive or crazy plan if it suits them. Surely the madness of Rwanda deportation (what difference to that of being sent to Siberia) and the hopeless barge are prime examples. Cheap, makeshift, unable to engineer anything with integrity or moral value. We need workers as we have shut off our supply from the EU, rather than treating migrants as handicapped lets get them integrated and contributing.
Goodness, one couldn’t have made this up, to transition from Truss to Sunak. I’d wondered why I’d hear her a couple of days previously on the news, I know this sounds mad but are they somehow trying to prove 2+2=3?
I shudder to think how protesters will now direct their energies, Sunak has fanned the flames of disobedience and fired up their energies with yesterdays illogical and stupid climate about-turn. I personally wish the protestors wouldn’t stop traffic etc as it is no.10 itself that needs to see this passion and commitment, as with all stoppages and unrest Sunak et al are totally and willingly oblivious.
One good thing (the irony) of Sunaks crazy U-turn on climate is that the subject/ problem and task in hand is much bigger than pip-squeak Sunak, he’s thrown away any credibility he might have had and I wld assume cannot wait for another general election (or maybe even a resignation, he couldn’t care less) … so as to be able to disappear back into private business and finance.
